Three Best Tips When Visiting A Spa
More and more people are enjoying a day out at the Spa.We are being encouraged ever more to give ourselves some pampering sometimes and allow ourselves some time to relax. Spa days are a great way to do this and can be such a positive thing not just for your body but for your mind, providing you do them right. Here are the best three pierces of advice for having the best spa day possible.
1.) Book far in advance. As soon as you have a date in mind, ring up and get it booked. This will not only mean you’ll get the best treatments but will also give you time to plan the trip well. Some therapists are assigned to the more specialist (and often better) treatments, so if these people get booked up then you will suffer from a restricted choice. If your an early booker you’ll get a better choice of treatments times also. This will allow you to have the same start and finish times as your friends or leave breaks for a read or food etc.You should really book the more physical treatments such as massage in the morning before the therapists get tired and you relaxing facials later on so that you can keep the products on your skin for more time.
2.) Swim early. If you are planning on using the wet-side facilities during your spa day you are much better off using them in the morning. The sauna, steam room and pool etc will not be as busy early on. Also, if you swim after your treatments you will wash off all the lovely skin care products and you’re skin will not get the full benefit.
3.) Get advice from staff. When you ring up to book your treatments, tell the person at the other end of the line what your needs are and ask for their suggestions for treatments. They will be well trained to give you good advice so listen to them. Likewise, ask the advise of the therapists on the day and make the most of your time with them. These people’s jobs are health and beauty so you’d be very unlucky not to learn something from them.
