Getting A Good Facial Routine
It is important to take good care of your skin, starting from being a teenager as this is when the skin becomes likely to break out in acne and general spots due to fluctuating hormone levels.
Whilst in your teens, there are various medicated face wash’s that help to clear up spot prone skin and if the instructions are followed correctly they should solve the problem.
If nothing seems to be working for you then consult your doctor. There is a range of products and medicines that they can try out until you find one that is suitable. If you would rather try natural based creams then buy acai berry skin care products. The acai berry comes from the Brazilian rain forest and is a super food, the extract is used in skin creams to promote skin healing.
There are also various night cream products that are worth trying. The skin heals itself and regenerates whilst you are asleep so it makes sense that a topical lotion applied prior to going to bed would be of some benefit to your skin.
It is best to avoid products that contain a fragranced beauty perfume as these are more likely to irritate your skin causing its appearance to become more blemished in some cases.
If you do have a problem using perfumed creams, there is a lot of creams on the market which contain no perfume and are more suitable for use for sensitive skin.
For general skin care the best thing to do is to cleanse tone and moisturise morning and evening. There are many options for cleansing. You can use special cloths that exfoliate gently whilst cleansing, or use a cream or lotion wiped off with cotton wool, facial wipes that come in a packet or foaming cream washes.
Not everyone likes to use a toner on their skin as they can be quite astringent and make the skin feel taut and over the past few years they are not used as much as they used to be, this is down to personal preference.
One of the main ways to keep skin looking good is to always use a moisturiser day and night. As with cleansers use one for your skin type and be aware that skin will become drier in the winter months and so a thicker cream may be needed then. Night creams are worth using in the night and you will see a significant improvement in the appearance of your skin after just a nights use of one.
